Boucle knit in white, cut close and worn off the shoulder — the Annabelle is a midi dress with a textured surface and a bodycon fit underneath it.
The neckline folds over in a straight line and sits off the shoulder, held by drawstring ties at each shoulder that you pull to the position you want. Long sleeves continue from there. Belt loops at the waist take a detachable waist tie, and splits at the sides open the hem. The boucle knit is unlined, so the texture is the whole of the fabric.
Two adjustable points — the shoulder ties and the removable belt — mean this midi dress can be set tight or left soft, and it reads differently each way. Bare shoulders want hair up. White in a heavy knit is winter dressing rather than summer, so a boot suits it better than a sandal, and a coat over the top finishes it.
