The halter neckline ties at the neck, so the fit up top is set by hand rather than by a size. An invisible zip with a hook and eye clasp closes the back. Below the waist the skirt is A-line and built in dropped tiers, each falling over the one beneath, which is what gives it movement without weight. The cotton is lined.
